Job Description

As a Team Lead Analytics Consultant with the Continuous Improvement Organization, you will consult with clients on key performance indicators, data acquisition, data integration and analysis across financial, clinical, and operational venues. You will identify opportunities to deliver client value through data driven approaches, and analytics. Provide support across client and Cerner teams of road mapping for analytics-based initiatives and contribute data and analytics expertise to cross-functional project teams that develop high-impact client solutions. In scope will be to ideate, develop and prepare client reports and/or dashboards that reflect data analysis, trends, and client-specific factors as well as lead the design and build of data management solutions that provide data acquisition, data quality, data transformation, master data management, and integration of data from disparate sources. You will prepare and present complex information to clients, including written reports and findings, project plans and presentations and work with internal and external implementation teams to ensure availability of relevant and correct data.

As a people manager you will be responsible to manage routine associate situations, direct the work efforts and results of a team of associates and develop team goals and manage them for results. You will develop associates through coaching performance, completing performance reviews, goal setting and development planning and promote diversity and create a respectful work environment.

About Client Services


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Health Care, Statistics or related field, or equivalent, relevant work experience
  • At least 5 years operational, clinical, financial or health care metrics work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of health care information technology (HCIT) project management, sales or consulting work experience


  • Willing to travel up to 10% as needed
  • Must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the Kansas City area
