Job Description

As Senior Regulatory Affairs and Compliance Strategist, you will help internal clients interpret applicable regulations and standards and use the Cerner Quality Management System (CQS).

One focus of your new role will be data protection law and its significance for Cerner as a processor as well as a controller. You will work closely with Cerner's data protection officer, HR representatives as well as product development teams.

For example, you will support internal clients in the preparation of internal and external audits and will be involved in the completion of any resulting corrective measures. You will assist with risk analyses, data protection impact assessments, the identification and implementation of improvement measures, data evaluation and the development and pursuit of compliance and quality goals (e.g. improvement and management of data processing registers).

You are responsible for processes within the CQS and maintain them. You will write and update documents that Cerner needs to perform its regulatory activities and for the CQS.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications
  • At least a Bachelor's degree with a focus on law, data protection, quality management, IT, healthcare, or comparable education
  • At least 5 years of Quality or Regulatory work experience
  • At least 3 years information technology work experience
  • Good understanding through working experience of the international standards for quality management systems ISO 9001 and ISO 13485
  • Business fluent in English as well as either Swedish or German, written and spoken
  • Proven data protection law expertise
  • Knowledge of EU medical device regulation

Preferred qualification
  • CIPP/E or a comparable certificate/education
  • MDR product advisor certification
  • Certified quality manager

Expectations
  • Must be willing to travel up to 20% as needed
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
