Clinical Solution Designer - Registered Nurse/Pharmacist

London, London, United Kingdom

Solution Strategy

Job Description

Cerner has been improving health care IT for more than 30 years. We don’t just implement IT solutions, we also transform the way healthcare professionals work. We have clients and offices around the globe. Our world-leading technology platform aggregates data from multiple sources enabling health and care systems to use this data to identify, score and predict risks, targeting the specific disease state populations through population-wide health improvement campaigns and interventions.

The team is focused on enabling clients to better understand, manage and engage populations to deliver a higher quality of care at a lower cost. By developing innovative solutions that work with the data from the Electronic Health & Care Record/s (EHR), this organization helps build healthier communities, one person at a time. The Population Health business uses predictive algorithms, clinical decision support and a “closed loop” health system to enable delivery of New Care Models. This approach ensures that health care services are delivering the best care to their communities effectively, efficiently, and rapidly. By aggregating data from multiple sources, health and care systems will use this data to identify, score and predict risks, targeting the individual through to population-wide health improvement campaigns and interventions.

As a Clinical Content Solution Designer (CCSD) your role is to lead the design/configuration of new population health solutions, initially focusing on registries. These registries are used to support the clinical network to close gaps in care for both chronic conditions, wellness and other populations. You will research, design and maintain clinically appropriate standardized content based on the latest evidence and relevant guidance and incorporate into Cerner Solutions. The CCSD will provide clinical guidance and expertise to advise clients through the design/localization of their system, organizing content appropriately for the workflow needs to various clinical settings, and documenting specifications for build. Outcome measures will be incorporated into the design and documentation on all standards and design will be maintained. The CCSD will also contribute to both internal and external knowledge sharing/education.

The CCSD will need to create and maintain relationships with key government, voluntary and professional bodies such as NICE, Royal College of Medicine, etc. These relationships will be key to adopting and influencing best practices.

If you’re out to change the world in ways that matter, we want to hear from you. As a Cerner Associate you will be joining an inclusive, social and innovative workplace that has a strong emphasis on developing talent and promotion from within. You will be rewarded for you hard work with a competitive salary and a host of additional benefits including generous insurance and pension plans, season ticket loan scheme, active lifestyle reimbursements and cycle to work programs.
