Job Description

As a Senior Associate Consultant (Revenue Cycle HIM) on Cerner's Federal team, you will consult with clients on comprehensive service line workflows, including current state and future state, and work with client to map out stop-start-continue processes to determine how the system will be designed and tested. Identify, resolve and report solution status, risks, and issues to client and project leadership. Coach client on data collection and system design requirements, and analyze to determine optimal solution build and implementation. Consult with internal project and organizational teams to bi-directionally share configuration status, project timelines and project updates, and verify configuration requests. Maintain client relationships and navigate through conflict and complex relationship situations to achieve business objectives.

Basic Qualifications

  • Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
  • Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen
  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Care, Business, related field or equivalent and relevant work experience
  • At least 1 year of software implementation work experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of health care information technology (HCIT) consulting or HCIT support work experience
  • Previous experience working with the federal government in any capacity
  • Previous experience working with Cerner RevCycle solution
Expectations
  • Must be willing to travel up to 75% as needed
  • Must be located near a major international airport

Due to specific client contract requirements, this position requires that the successful candidate be a U.S. citizen. The client contract also requires receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for the position.
