Job Description

As an Associate Consultant on the Record Retrieval team, you are often the face of Cerner to clients. You will maintain and cultivate client relationships to achieve business objectives. You will consult with the client and identify business needs and provide the client with recommendations for system design requirements to determine optimal solution build and implementation. You will travel to client sites to provide on-site implementation, configuration, support, and maintenance of the client’s Cerner Solution. You will work with internal teams, facilitate client meetings and facilitate key events to ensure that milestones are met and client goals are achieved. You’ll coach clients on data collection and system design requirements, and analyze to determine optimal solution build and implementation. Critical thinking skills are needed to identify, resolve and report solution status, risks, and issues to client and project leadership.

About Clinical


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of health care information technology (HCIT) consulting and/or support work experience


  • Willing to travel up to 20% of the time as needed
  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Kansas City metropolitan area
