Job Description

The Clinical Product group is looking to add a Strategist for Emergency Medicine product group. This person will help to determine the strategic direction, vision and scope of capabilities for Emergency Medicine and Outpatient Charging experiences driven by market needs. This will include defining these experiences, identifying product features and gaps while supporting market needs. Strategists are essentially the subject matter expert for a given product area. They will articulate the current competitive landscape and market trends and create the concepts for new products. The Strategist will also prioritize development projects with the understanding of the financial impact of each decision, drive the visual design process, and define capabilities for an initiative and the development of new products.

About Sales, Marketing & Strategy


Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Healthcare or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • At least 1 year of health care information technology (HCIT) project management, sales or consulting work experience
  • At least 4 years solution experience or product ownership work experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 2-3 years of Millennium data, workflows, and applications concepts
  • Understanding of lights on and other methods of Cerner collection of user interaction data
  • Ability to talk through workflow concepts leading into technical design concepts
  • Understanding of Cerner’s Outpatient facility charging solutions
  • Understanding of injection and infusion CPT hierarchy
