Job Description

As a Data Analyst within Strategic Growth Client Operations, you will design and develop reporting assets utilizing multiple data sources and Business Intelligence tools to provide consistent, reliable, and automated delivery to the end user. You will be responsible for conducting data discovery, analysis, and profiling of data to validate business needs and requirements. You will also collaborate with various business units within Strategic Growth to design the structure of data solutions, as well as plan their implementation within the team. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and fixing data loads and other issues within a data mart and explore new ways to present data insights to end users within projects. Finally, you will have responsibility for managing small-scale reporting commitments to business stakeholders and developing and maintaining the reporting environment structure.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Analytics, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent, relevant work experience
  • At least 1 year of data analysis work experience, including data management, transformation and visualization, or successful completion of Cerner's Analytics Learning Lab
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 1 year experience with SQL and/or PowerBI
Expectations
  • Must be willing to travel up to 20% as needed
  • Must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the Kansas City Metropolitan area
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Willing to work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
