As a Manager/Lead Recruiting Partner, you will align closely with our Cerner Government Services organization to understand talent needs supporting aggressive business growth. Our leaders will lean on your expertise to make recommendations and influence decisions, while always building trust. You will develop a deep understanding of the core business you and your teams support so that you can successfully execute complex recruiting strategies by identifying a variety of sourcing options, building networks, delivering qualified candidates, constructing and negotiating offers all the while ensuring compliance measures are being met.

As a manager of people, you will seek to understand disagreements, ensure all perspectives are heard and facilitate a plan for resolution, modeling an inclusive and diverse environment for all. Additional managerial responsibilities include, delegating the work in a dynamic and fluid environment, providing clear expectations and follow up to ensure progress and overcome roadblocks; identify associates and team priorities based on business direction and adjust when needed; and lead by example and share knowledge and experiences with associates and team. Creating a respectful work environment where you advocate for your team, create accountability and recognize their accomplishments is also a key responsibility.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Management, Business, Health Care, or Human Resources Management or related field or equivalent, relevant work experience

  • At least 10 years of talent acquisition experience or human resource generalist work experience in a government contracting environment

  • Experience with state and federal laws, such as OFCCP

  • Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position

  • Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of leadership experience in recruiting management roles

Expectations

  • Reside in or be willing to relocate to the greater Arlington, VA area

Additional Information

Due to specific client contract requirements, this position requires that the successful candidate be a U.S. citizen. The client contract also requires receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for the position.
