Job Description

As an Advisory Client Accountable Executive, you will own a strategic national client partnership as a trusted advisor accountable for the creation of a shared governance structure with a shared vision of success, optimization of the current and future roadmap, and an overall focus on identifying outcomes and achieving value. Specific responsibilities include: manage the overall client relationship for a large or complex client, including serving as the escalation point and managing issues requiring executive attention to resolution, and advocate for the client within Cerner; build and maintain relationships at all levels and strategic partnerships with executive leadership across the client organization; and facilitate all Cerner related engagements with the client, including implementation delivery, to achieve consistency in strategy, messaging, and delivery to the client as committed. As a leader, you will plan and participate in strategic road mapping sessions and propose solutions and services tailored to the client's needs and vision; develop and advance sales opportunities through the sales process to deal closure to meet quarterly sales quotas; and continuously grow the overall reference-ability of the client and ensure the client actively promotes the value of the Cerner relationship. You will also follow and contribute to defining best practices for managing client profitability, including invoicing, accounts receivable, cash collections, write-off processes and contractual interactions.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree
  • At least 7 years Health care information technology (HCIT) project management, sales or consulting work experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree
  • At least 2 years Client management work experience
  • At least 1 year People management work experience
  • At least 3 years Health care business development work experience

Expectations
  • Ability to travel 80%
  • Reside in or be willing to relocate to the greater Toronto area
