We are pleased to share the opening for a Director, HR Business Partner. By focusing on Org, Talent and Culture strategies with senior leaders you will be responsible for driving solutions to advance capabilities. In this role you will effectively implement HR policies, processes, practices, and programs for the global functions to maximize achievement of short- and long-term objectives. You will have accountability for building the capabilities of leaders in the area of organizational development, culture, performance management and engagement. We expect that you will stay up to date with the latest HR best practices to bring new ideas into the organization balancing Cerner’s needs to ensure strategies and solutions are business relevant. The Director will develop and deliver HR partner solutions that promote global collaboration, build functional excellence and enhance organization effectiveness. He/she will support the HR service delivery model by collaborating with other HRBPs, HR Centers of Expertise (COE) and AskHR resources to advance our commitment to “consistent standard of care” for every employee and ensure that the HR COE’s have the information, guidance, and feedback needed to ensure capabilities to support execution of the organization, talent and culture strategy. You will contribute to efforts that build HR functional excellence (people, process/programs & systems) and drive continuous process improvements to deliver efficient, effective HR core services to leaders, managers and associates.

Qualifications

Basic

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • At least 7 years of experience in HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role

  • At least 3 years of experience leading a team, executive coaching, and developing others

Preferred

  • At least 10 years of experience in HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role

Expectations

  • Position is located in Kansas City, MO

  • 30% travel

Additional Information
