Senior Strategic Client Executive

Job Description

As a Senior Strategic Client Executive, you manage the sales process for new business opportunities to meet sales goals within a defined territory. You leverage client and benefit consultant relationships in the self-insured workforce health market to grow new business sales pipeline and create demand within assigned territory; analyze market and competitive intelligence to develop sales strategies for highly competitive and complex client opportunities; and build and maintain strategic partnerships at all levels within the client organization. You also consult with prospective clients and/or their benefit consultants on Cerner Workforce Health Services to clearly communicate strategy and vision; develop and progress innovative sales proposals that address the specific needs of the client; accurately forecast sales opportunities; lead contract negotiations; and manage pipeline and forecast in order to consistently drive sales opportunities to closure against a sales quota.

About Sales, Marketing & Strategy


Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Care, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • At least 7 years of large or complex sales with new or installed clients, Cerner consulting or other Cerner solution work experience
  • At least 5 years of sales in self-funding, onsite health, wellness or third-party administration
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Onsite/Near site/Shared site Health
  • Experience with Self-funding, TPA
  • Experience with HSA/HRA/FSA Administration
  • Experience with Wellness and Coaching
  • Experience with Workers' Compensation
  • Experience with Contract Negotiation
  • Willing to travel up to 75% of the time as needed
  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Denver, CO or live within 60 miles of an approved virtual city
