Job Description

The Consultant Site Intern position is a paid, year-round opportunity. As a Tiger Institute intern, you will be part of the team and expected to contribute to the big picture just like any other team member. You’ll get a glimpse into both health care and information technology industries by providing support of Cerner health solutions and end-users, work to improve processes, assist in report building, and more. Consultant Site Interns will also be given opportunities to participate in scheduled social events, gain leadership exposure, and participate in additional learning events.

About Students & Graduates

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Healthcare, Liberal Arts or related field with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Enrolled in a minimum of nine (9) credit hours per semester

Expectations
  • Must reside in the Columbia, MO metropolitan area
  • Ability to work 10-15 hours per week during school year and 40 hours per week during summer (May-August)

Additional Information

Applicants for U.S. based positions with Cerner Corporation must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
