Pharmacist Solution Advisor

Job Description

As a Pharmacist Solution Advisor on the Sales Alignment Medication Process team, you will provide in-depth medication process solution feature and functionality knowledge during the sales process and serve as the domain and industry expert for a broad base of solutions for our clients. You will present scripted and unscripted solution presentations, demonstrating knowledge of solution's features and functionality, and maintain current-state knowledge of industry intelligence trends. You will contribute ideas to the design and development of Cerner medication process solutions and services while clearly articulating and promoting Cerner's competitive advantage during solution demonstrations, industry events, trade shows, regional client meetings and Cerner's annual health conference meeting. You will also participate in the bid submission or proposal process by creating and/or reviewing responses, contributing clinical and local workflow expertise as applicable, and sharing key proposal feedback with solution presenters.

About Sales, Marketing & Strategy


Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or equivalent relevant work experience
  • At least 2 years of registered pharmacist work experience
  • Licensed Pharmacist

Preferred Qualifications
  • Doctorate of Pharmacy degree
  • Previous sales or product demonstration experience
  • Cerner solution experience
  • Willing to travel up to 80% as needed
  • Must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to Kansas City Metropolitan area, or reside in a previously approved virtual location
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Additional Information
