Job Description

The Health Center Service Specialist executes front desk operations and provides organizational support for the Health Center. In this role, you will be expected to provide a high level of service to the patients as well as perform data entry, maintain files, and research best practices to determine appropriate course of action. You will also be responsible for ensuring that each patient receives the appropriate Cerner experience through proper preparation and execution of events and communication.

Hours will be Monday through Friday 7 AM – 4 PM.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • Associates Degree in Health Care or related field or equivalent relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of professional office experience, preferably in a clinical or health care setting
Expectations
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
  • Reside in or be willing to relocate to the Kansas City area
