Cerner is looking for a Technical Solution Analyst in the Healthcare Data Exchange – Transaction Services (HDXTS) Operations Team. HDXTS is responsible for the delivery of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transaction services to providers, payers, and third-party customers. EDI is an electronic communication system that provides standards for exchanging data via any electronic means. EDI implies a sequence of messages between two parties (Hospital and Insurance Companies), either of whom may serve as originator or recipient. HDXTS services are integrated with Cerner applications (Soarian, Millennium, Invision Signature, and Eagle). Additionally, we support several third-party integration partners.

This position will be responsible for working on small to medium-sized EDI implementation/ support projects. Responsibilities include mapping EDI data from one format to another, setting up connectivity using the SOAP (or other) protocols, creating Inbound/Outbound File Delivery Solutions, Payer/Provider connectivity setup, analysis, and troubleshooting. Preparing status reports on an ongoing basis for all project activities. This position is responsible for providing customer-facing 1st and 2nd level support of the following HDXTS Services: HDXpress, Integrated Eligibility Services (IES), Electronic Remittance Service (ERS), Electronic Claims Service (ECS). This position is responsible for monitoring and supporting provider and payer connections to HDX. This position is responsible for monitoring and supporting provider and payer map changes, connectivity changes as well as working on regulatory enhancements. They will be required to troubleshoot issues, resolve problems, take direction from Functional Lead and escalate when needed.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent work experience

• At least 1 year of customer support/ help desk/ support analyst experience

• Knowledge of Websphere, Citrix, OS/2, UNIX, Windows Services, API, Sharepoint, familiarity with IBM software.

• Knowledge of File Transfer scripts/jobs (FTP and SFTP)

• Knowledge of handling support through a ticketing system (Remedy/ Jira etc)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to Mainframe

• Knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn mapping/ support tools; OpenLink, IMAP and IBM WTX

Expectations:

•Willing to work on a flexible schedule if needed

•Willing to work overtime or irregular hours if needed
