Healthcare Research Innovation Strategist

Job Description

Working with the globally recognized researchers driving innovative clinical research, you will contribute to the identification and development of new healthcare capabilities and solutions enabled by healthcare, consumer, and other data assets. As the research strategist, you will utilize data and analytics to inform business case development, assess opportunities, and prioritize minimally viable prototype(MVP) development. Additionally, you will partner closely with internal and external clients to understand their needs for the purposes of defining requirements for both initial MVPs as well as the future product solutions. Developed MVPs will be presented to clients and prospective customers to increase the fidelity of the MVP through iterative testing of desirability, feasibility, and viability. Finally, you will partner with variety of internal stakeholders/business areas to drive the implementation of identified solutions.

Ideally you’ve worked in consulting, entrepreneurship, or healthcare product development and are ready to bring your innovation skills to a collaboration between a globally and nationally recognized research and clinical organization and the international breadth of a leading healthcare technology company.

About Client Services


Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Health Care or related field or relevant equivalent work experience
  • At least 5 years of health care operations management work experience
Preferred Requirement:
  • Master’s degree in Healthcare and/or Business
  • Involved with piloting or minimally viable prototype creation or other lean methodology
  • Experience supporting the development of new products, services, or intellectual property
  • Experience working with teams using data to drive insights and/or new capabilities across complex healthcare challenges
  • Prior innovation labs, incubators/accelerators, or research institutes experience.
  • Leadership experience in a matrix structure
