You have the opportunity now to join the fast growing Cerner Nordic team as a Corporate Counsel. As a Corporate Counsel you will be responsible for all Cerner legal matters in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark.

In the Corporate Counsel role you will review and negotiate high value public sector IT contracts with both new and existing clients, provide legal support to the sales team in public procurement processes, and to the commercial team and operational teams in managing and amending existing client contracts. You will be involved in negotiating the key supplier contracts in the Nordics together with the supplier contracting team. You will work closely with the Nordic leadership to provide strategic advise on the ongoing projects and legal risks related to various areas of Cerner business. Your responsibilities will also include to provide legal advise on regulatory topics such as data protection, medical device legislation, etc.

About Corporate

Qualifications

Basic qualifications:
  • Master of Laws degree (Juristexamen), Master of Laws (Oikeustieteen maisteri) or equivalent education;
  • Fluent in English and Swedish
  • A strong background in drafting, negotiating and reviewing IT contracts and working on regulatory matters
Preferred qualifications:
  • Fluent in Finnish
  • Knowledge of laws in the areas of intellectual property, data protection, healthcare IT solutions (including medical devices), employment and company law
  • Track record of establishing strong working relationships with business clients or within a law firm

Expectations:
Willingness to travel when needed (mainly in Nordics, up to 30%)

Additional Information
