Job Description

As a member of the Patient Financial Services leadership team within RevWorks, you will plan and supervise daily operations of patient financial services department. In an Patient Financial Services Supervisor role success is driven by providing supervision and direction to patient financial service department associates. Your role is pivotal to manage daily processing facets, ensure compliance with Joint Commission, federal, state, and other regulatory agencies related to patient financial services and supervise service-specific accounts receivable functions. Leadership aspects also include monitoring key performance metrics, drive performance to meet organizational benchmarks, and own escalation points as reported by team and patient offices.

Associate supervision will include but not be limited to managing routine associate situations, directing work efforts and results of the team of associates, and developing team goals and manage for results. You will have an opportunity to develop associates through coaching performance, completing performance reviews, goal setting and development planning while promoting diversity and creating a respectful work environment.

About Client Services

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma
  • At least 3 years of patient financial services, medical revenue cycle department or health care information technology work experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field
  • At least 1 year experience working in an ambulatory office
  • At least 1 year experience working in a multi-disciplinary or specialty medical practice
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience

Expectations

  • Must live in or around the Kansas City metro area or be willing to relocate

Additional Information
