Job Description

As an Organizational Change Consultant, you create and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize adoption, minimize resistance, and meet project objectives. You will build strategies to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative, while supporting the design and developing of organizational communications. It is important in this position to provide direct support and coaching for managers by conducting analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders. Organizational Change Consultants also understand success metrics, monitor change progress and provide updates on change readiness to leadership. You will collect and analyze data throw interview, observation and informal discussions to understand an organization’s culture, success factors, and barriers. This position will be aligned to the VA EHR Modernization project.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Education, Health Care Administration, Marketing or related field or equivalent relevant work experience

• At least 3 years of consulting work experience

• Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position

• Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of change management work experience

Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) - Association of Change Management Professionals

Expectations:

Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Kansas City, MO area or an approved metro location (based on organization)

Willing to travel up to 80% as needed

Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position

Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Due to specific client contract requirements, this position requires that the successful candidate be a U.S. citizen. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
