Cerner is hiring an Enterprise Information Architect within our Shared Services Engineering team. Enterprise Services organization is responsible for leading the Enterprise Architecture teams for Cerner’s corporate business and associate technologies. The Enterprise Architecture team evaluates and consults on new technologies, maintains technology strategies and roadmaps, and enables teams to improve their quality and velocity through process improvements, automation, continuous delivery standards and frameworks. There is a keen focus on influencing skills with business and IT stakeholders across Cerner.

This person strengthens the impact of, and provides recommendations on, business information that will need to be available and shared consistently across the organization through the identification, definition and analysis of how information assets aid strategies and business outcomes. The EA is responsible for discovering the data and analytics requirements for information, starting with a transformational CRM program in partnership with Salesforce. They will enable effective data and analytics stewardship governance with suggestions who can take what actions with what information, and under what circumstances. Leads efforts to improve business performance through enterprise information solutions and capabilities, such as master data management (MDM), metadata management, analytics, content management, data integration, and related information management or information infrastructure components.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Engineer, Management Information Systems or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • 5+ years of Information technology work experience
  • 2+ years of Business strategy work experience
  • 2+ years of Consulting or relationship management work experience
  • 3+ years of Application architecture, network management and performance management work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of data integration architecture
  • 2+ years of CRM architecture experience
  • 5+ years of experience working in a leadership role in technology within a large enterprise organization
  • 5 years working in a technology capacity

Expectations:

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Willingness to travel as needed (0-20%)
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Additional Information
