Join the team a part of our partnership with Adventist Health. This longstanding strategic alignment and shared goal to improve quality of care and patient experience assumes day-to-day management of Adventist Health’s revenue cycle and clinical applications IT staff.

As the Senior Patient Access Supervisor at Adventist Health Castle in Kailua, Hawaii, you will direct and supervise patient access department operations including reception and patient access representative. Leverage your experience to supervise insurance with verification authorization associates, strategically align staff to support workload while meeting budget requirements, and monitor trends in volume, errors, cancellations and other appointment-driven reporting and audit staff performance. You will work with the Patient Access Manager and Director to plan and develop new systematic approaches to maximize upfront collections and accuracy in registrations, maintain policy accuracy, and monitor department efficiencies of meeting departmental goals, while also implementing plans for improvement when needed.

Leadership aspects include direct the work efforts and results of the team by developing team goals and develop associates through coaching performance, completing performance reviews, goal setting and development planning.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 5 years’ patient access work experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associates degree in Accounting, Business or Finance
  • At least 3 years of people management work experience
  • At least 1 year patient access work experience in an emergency room setting
  • Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR)

Expectations
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
  • Must currently reside in or near Kailua, Hawaii or be willing to relocate to the area

Additional Information
