Job Description

Cerner ITWorks is a growing and dynamic business unit. Cerner ITWorks provides expertise and support to maximize client's investments in IT solutions, infrastructure and operational effectiveness and efficiencies. Cerner ITWorks is in need of talented healthcare IT professionals with a commitment to improving healthcare.

As the Client Leader you will run all aspects of business at an individual Cerner ITWorks site, ensuring all business standards or service levels are met on a daily basis, while continually strategizing the site’s successful future. You will partner with client leadership to determine strategic direction, vision and scope of capabilities. You will be responsible for leading the development, design, and optimization of information system platforms for ITWorks client.

Your people management responsibilities will include managing routine associate situations while directing the work efforts and results of a team of associates. You will develop associates through coaching performance, completing performance reviews, goal setting and development planning. In addition, develop team goals and manage them for results while promoting diversity and creating a respectful work environment.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • At least 7 years of operational leadership and project management work experience
  • At least 5 years of clinical, health care or information systems management work experience

Additional Information
