Job Description

As Construction Manager you will develop, manage and execute facility-based construction project work plans. You will play a vital role in overseeing a project team and contractors to stay within project scope and budget while ensuring on-time delivery. Additional responsibilities will include but not limited to; communicating with design and facilities team regarding modifications to the facilities construction, electrical, network, and security, as well as managing relationships with outside suppliers, including general contractors, architects, and engineering firms. You will also maintain project files, plan documents, operations and maintenance manuals and related project documentation for transfer to the facilities operating team.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree or equivalent relevant work experience

  • At least 3 years of Capital Project Management work experience

  • At least 5 years of construction work experience

  • Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position

  • Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of commercial, corporate office construction work experience

  • Experience working with governmental entities

  • Experience across all facets for construction process


Expectations:

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

  • Ability to manage multiple project sites and at a distance

  • Position will require up to 60%-80% travel

  • Budget development and cost tracking

  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
