Job Description

The CTS Enterprise Services Development Project Manager is responsible for managing implementations of software development projects throughout the entire project lifecycle; ensuring world-class service is provided by coordinating departmental or cross-functional teams to deliver timely, high quality solutions. The CTS Enterprise Applications Technical Project Manager works on significant or unique issues where analysis of situations and independent judgment are required to obtain results. The Technical Project Manager is also responsible for the following: managing project action items, matrix managing resources, risks/issues and all project deliverables; managing cross-organizational interactions as needed; facilitating project meetings; generating agendas/minutes; developing detailed plans/schedules; managing the project budget and driving projects through all deployment phases.

Responsibilities also include:
  • Executing domain vision and business strategies internally & externally.
  • Managing multiple projects that have a distinct beginning and end.
  • Utilizing technical knowledge to monitor and report project and/or team performance against business unit goals & objectives.
  • Managing projects to ensure on-time delivery without sacrificing high quality standards.
  • Providing timely communication of project status to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Promoting, utilizing, and contributing to knowledge transfer.
  • Building and maintaining internal and external client relationships.
  • Seeking continuous improvement in processes, procedures, and outcomes.
  • Utilizing technical knowledge to ensure project deliverables are completed on-time with zero defects.
  • Client commitments are consistently met.
  • Working in accordance with corporate and organizational policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years IT experience, with both hands-on and lead experience in software development.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to collaborate with others to achieve the desired outcome.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work off-hours when required.
  • A thorough understanding of SDLC processes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience with using Microsoft Project Server
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of leadership
  • Previous formal project management experience
  • Ability to learn and apply new technical skills and concepts quickly.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Ability to work overtime and off hours when needed
