Job Description

As a Manager/Senior Consulting Manager within Cerner's Ambulatory Services Organization you will oversee the execution of technology solutions, continuously advance and drive improvements of professional services related to efficiencies, methodology, scope, and solution capability. You have the opportunity to develop senior-level data migration engineers with deep solution knowledge and/or breadth across solutions while establishing on-going executive level relationships with key strategic clients. You will lead team data migration and implementation while mitigating all escalations for area of responsibility to include resourcing, associate, client and solution. You will develop associates through coaching performance, completing performance reviews, goal setting and development planning. In your role as a Manager/Senior Consulting Manager you drive cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders to identify and propose solution enhancements, workflow efficiencies and client relationship strategies that contribute to organizational initiatives.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Care, Business, or related field, or equivalent, relevant work experience
  • At least 7 years HCIT software implementation work experience
  • At least 5 years people management experience
  • Willing to travel 10 - 20% as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Data migration
  • HL7 or FHIR implementation experience
Expectations:
  • Willing to work overtime or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
