Looking to join the world’s largest Healthcare IT company? Cerner is growing and seeking a Senior Solution Strategist to join our Ambulatory Revenue Cycle Strategy Team. This team is client and market facing team with responsibility for identifying, analyzing and documenting key functional requirements to ensure client success. In collaboration with our RCM solution strategy and IP (development) teams, Cerner delivers first class RCM solutions for physician organizations serving all venues of care.

The strategist will meet with client end users and manager, assessing current workflows, and identifying opportunities for solution enhancements. With attention to detail, the strategist will document workflows, create design documents and visualizations. Working cross-functionally, the strategist will be embedded with other teams (model experience, strategy and IP) as a participating member. Customer engagement is critical to the success of the team, and the strategist will be responsible for planning, coordinating agendas and resources and facilitating client meetings including the bi-annual Ambulatory RCM Special Interest Group.

The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced RCM professional. Prior experience as a practice administrator, revenue cycle leader and/or consulting is expected. Knowledge of Cerner Practice Management and/or Cerner Patient Accounting or other leading physician RCM solutions is preferred.

Qualifications


Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Healthcare or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Experience as a practice administrator, revenue cycle leader and/or consulting
  • At least 3 years of Healthcare Information Technology (HCIT) project management, sales or consulting work experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in solution design or product ownership


Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Cerner Practice Management and/or Cerner Patient Accounting or other leading physician RCM solutions is preferred

Expectations
  • Willing to travel up to 25% as needed
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
