Lead Patient Access Representative

Job Description

As a Lead Patient Access Representative, you will be the first face patients interact with when they come into the hospital. To ensure that patient registration is done in a timely and accurate manor you will work one on one with the patient to gather all the pertinent account information. You will utilize your background in understanding insurance policies and how to collect patient liability payments as you work on the front lines. We will look to you to keep open communication between appropriate departments of patients’ arrival and guarantee the correct paperwork that is needed for them is ready to go. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • At least 5 years of patient access work experience
Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree
  • At least 1 year of work experience in a multi-provider practice
Expectations

  • Ability to work full-time variable shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
  • Must live in or around the Selma, CA area

Additional Information
