The Cerner Benelux organization is growing. All associates are aimed towards the shared goal of bringing our solutions to the Dutch and Belgium hospitals and patients however the atmosphere is easy going. We have a strong team and work intensely #together with associates from other countries like France, the UK and the US.

As a Senior Proposal Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the dynamic sales process and sales associates by providing written proposals for RFP/RFI/RFQ’s in response to client needs. You will be focusing on delivering high quality, client-specific written proposals, often within a limited period in a deadline-driven environment.

You will analyse the received proposals, work closely with the sales leaders, and Cerner’s centralized Proposal Advisor and Strategists based in the US, to obtain the required inputs for the tenders at-hand, combine responses from cross-functional teams across all levels of the organization to create quality messaging to client questions about Cerner offerings, coordinates the timely completion of client facing proposals in high quality, and will ensure the successful submission of the same.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Care, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • At least 5 years of proposal/bid/procurement management in the public sector
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years’ experience in Healthcare Information Technology consulting or support work experience
  • Experience with procurements lasting 12 to 18 months or sales experience
  • Experience of the OJEU procurement process
Expectations:
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Ability to work additional or irregular hours as needed
