Senior Project Manager

Paddington Central, London, United Kingdom

Project Administration & Management

Job Description

The Interoperability team within the Cerner Population Health organisation, is focused on improving healthcare by strategically connecting organisations and sharing data beyond their four walls. The interoperability solution leverages clinical and administrative data across the continuum of care, including data from the Electronic Patient Records (EPRs). Health systems can view a more holistic record for their patients by aggregating and sharing data from multiple sources, which can prevent the duplication of tests, help avoid potentially dangerous drug interactions and lower costs that are associated with these adverse events. This approach ensures that health care facilities are delivering the best care to their patients effectively, efficiently, and rapidly.

As a Senior Interoperability Project Manager (IPM), you would be responsible for driving delivery of the interoperability solution and project implementation, managing project risks, change management and escalating as appropriate. You would cultivate external client relationships to achieve business objectives, including benefits realisation, support of a team of associates responsible for client project deliverables and work with the team at creating project documentation based on contractual commitments.

Among the main responsibilities, as a Senior IPM you will provide leadership to the project team and will oversight deployments, so that project deliverables and value are met. You will be responsible for the creation of the plan and the communication to stakeholders, including weekly project reports. On the job you will apply project management principles, including management of risk and issues log and change control processes.
