Job Description

As a member of the Patient Financial Services leadership team within RevWorks, you will direct PFS operations to support the overall financial goals of the client and organization. As the PFS Director, you will provide operational and strategic leadership to plan, organize, direct, and evaluate patient financial services functions. This will be accomplished through leading and directing the billing office staff on all aspects of strategic accounts receivable management, denials, cash posting, and follow-up operations. As the leader for this team, you will own and implement operational policies, procedures and guidelines; monitor progress of teams and direct efforts to ensure successful outcomes. Owning escalation points and identifying trends and deficiencies to implement corrective action opportunities are additional key responsibilities. Ensuring performance and process improvements will be accomplished through the allocation of resources, including people, data, processes and financial investments, to achieve the optimal workflow and outcomes.

About Revenue Cycle Management


Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; or equivalent relevant work experience
  • At least 7 years of patient financial services, medical revenue cycle department or health care information technology work experience
  • At least 5 years of people management work experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree
  • Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR)

  • Reside in or be willing to relocate to the Kansas City, MO metropolitan area
  • Willingness and ability to work irregular hours and/or overtime as needed

Additional Information
