Looking to join the world’s largest Healthcare IT company? Cerner is growing and is seeking a Solution Strategist to join our team in Kansas City, MO. The Strategist determines the strategic direction, vision and scope of capabilities for a given healthcare role, venue, market and/or segment. Strategists are essentially the subject matter expert for a given area. They will articulate the current competitive landscape and market trends, obtain feedback on solution direction from clients. The Strategist will also prioritize development projects with the understanding of the financial impact of each decision, drive the visual design process, and define capabilities for an initiative and the development of the solutions.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Healthcare or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • At least 1 year of health care information technology (HCIT) project management, sales or consulting work experience
  • At least 3 years solution design or product ownership work experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in an Administration role in a medical group, practice management experience or revenue cycle supervisory role

Expectations
  • Willing to travel up to 20% as needed
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position

Additional Information
