Job Description

We are excited to hire a Technical Support Engineer with Immediate Response Center team (IRC). As a Technical Support Engineer within IRC you are responsible for monitoring system and application alarms through the Cerner alert monitoring tool. In this role you will be working on front end (windows server), back end (UNIX based servers), middleware and database of client systems. Additionally, you will need to troubleshoot the alarm as per the standard process and procedures and escalate and report the service or system outages to next level of associates or technical leads on need basis.

About Engineering & Technology


Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience
• At least 1 year of experience of operating systems like Linux, Windows, VMS, HPUX or AIX
• At least 6 months of experience with monitoring solutions like Insight, Remedy and BMC Patrol

Preferred Qualifications

• Training, experience or certifications for multiple operating systems including Linux, Windows, VMS, HPUX or AIX


• Willing to work in Night Shift
• Willing to work in 5 5 4 Shift

Additional Information
