The Population Health business uses predictive algorithms, clinical decision support and a “closed loop” health system to enable delivery of New Care Models. This approach ensures that health care services are delivering the best care to their communities effectively, efficiently, and rapidly. By aggregating data from multiple sources, health and care systems will use this data to identify, score and predict risks, targeting the individual through to population-wide health improvement campaigns and interventions.

You will be able to create strategic technical designs for small scope projects within the team. You will also be expected to debug complicated issues that span multiple modules, involve complex concurrency or low-level problems and to propose and lead process improvement projects for development, deployment or application monitoring. Part of your role as the as the Senior Software Engineer will be to share knowledge within the team through mentorship, coaching, technical talks and blogs.
Part of this job profile is providing tier 3 support to our clients once an issue is determined to need code investigation. In this role, you will be assigned to specific software solutions and perform advanced investigative techniques related to reading source code, log files, debugging errors, running test scripts, and querying databases. This will involve working with clients to understand the nature of the problem, troubleshooting from both a database and front-end application code perspective, analyzing log files, stepping through recreations of issues with in-house environments and writing diagnostic versions of applications in order to determine the root cause of an issue.
